Checking in

i know that whanau Maata is doing a wonderful job in my absence and that our lovely staff and children are just trucking on beautifully. So far I have travelled from one side of Canada to the other and places I between. I love Canada and I am very grateful for the opportunity. I just need to be that paper written at the end of it.
I have met so many wonderful, friendly, generous people and had many laughs along the way. These are some of the sights I've seen.
I did go to the musical of Anne of Green Gables on Prince Edward Island and it was brilliant. I knew the story from childhood so I also knew the sad bits.
Stay safe and healthy. I think of you all often as I compare stories with teachers and principals I am meeting along the way. We are the best and we need to make sure we keep it that way by working together for the sake of our children. Bless.

Red Cross Powhiri

Part of our Kapahaka group was invited to perform a simple powhiri for The General Secretary of The International Red Cross. What a privilege. Thank you for asking us. Our costumes were funded by Red Cross Grants.
